ROY HOWAT'S EVENTS PAGE
Recent and about to happen:
Roy's tours in the past year have taken him several times to Asia and the antipodes for broadcasts, masterclasses, solo and joint recitals and performances of Poulenc's Concert champętre in Brisbane and Sydney.  Earlier in the year heard him perform Dvorák's Piano Quintet with Prague's legendary Panocha Quartet in Lanškroun (the Czech home town of Roy's mother).

15 May 2009 saw the launch at the Royal Academy of Music of Roy's new book
The Art of French Piano Music, followed in the next week by a concert at the Debussy Museum outside Paris and DVD recordings in Vienna.  July will see the release of Roy's new 2-CD album of piano music by Gabriel Fauré, an all-Fauré chamber music concert with the Kreutzer Quartet at Wiltons Hall in London (19 July), and classes at the Ecole Normale de Musique for the European-American Musical Alliance

Roy then flies to Asia and Australia for solo and chamber music concerts, masterclasses and lectures at venues including the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne and Elder Conservatorium concert series in Adelaide.
